Destiny 2 carries and recoveries: what can get an account banned?
Understand Bungie's account recovery policy and the difference between a carry, account access and marketplace order protection.
Bungie explicitly warns that buying or selling account recoveries can result in bans. Its policy includes paid access for boosting, item acquisition and content completion, and says some free boosting recoveries can also lead to restrictions. Official publisher policy.
Start with who plays
A Destiny 2 carry and an account recovery are not interchangeable terms. Before comparing prices, ask whether you remain on your own account or another person controls it. If the offer requests login access, the account-recovery policy is directly relevant. Do not let a different marketing label obscure the actual arrangement.
A raid clear is not every reward
Separate the activity from the desired item. An order for a named raid may cover a completion scope that differs from an exotic or weapon objective. Check the exact selection before deciding. This is a delivery question, separate from whether the publisher permits the method.
Check access without handing it over
Confirm that your character can launch the activity you intend to play. Ask which requirements apply and whether scheduling depends on your participation. You do not need to share account credentials merely to ask those questions. Avoid sending recovery codes or unrelated personal information in a preliminary conversation.
Community stories do not predict your outcome
A friend reporting an uneventful recovery does not establish a safe probability for another account. Conversely, a single ban story may omit context. Use Bungie's own policy for the rule, then assess the proposed service against it. Do not interpret marketplace ratings as approval from Bungie.
Order records and publisher decisions
FullBoosts provides order status, chat and a review window. Keep the agreed scope on the order page and use the refund policy for delivery disputes. Those tools do not guarantee immunity from publisher penalties. Read the linked official policy again before acting because publishers can update their rules.
