Call of Duty: Mobile Beginner Guide: Controls, Loadouts and Objective Play
Build a comfortable COD Mobile control layout, test one practical Multiplayer loadout and improve objective decisions without copying unexplained sensitivity settings.

In this guide 4 sections
Call of Duty: Mobile becomes more comfortable when the control layout fits your hands and the loadout fits the mode you are playing. Start with a setup you can operate consistently, then improve it through small changes rather than copying every setting from another player's device.
Make the controls reachable
Place important actions where you can use them without covering the area you need to see. Test movement, aiming and firing together before entering a demanding match. If you frequently miss a button, adjust its placement before assuming your aim is the problem.
Change sensitivity in small steps and use a familiar practice situation to compare the result. Another player's number does not account for your screen size, grip or preferred way of aiming. Keep the setting stable long enough to learn it.
Check the correct loadout screen
Activision's support guide explains that Multiplayer loadouts are available from the home screen or Multiplayer lobby. Read the weapon and equipment descriptions in the mode you actually intend to play; Multiplayer and Battle Royale choices should not be treated as one identical setup. Official loadout help.
Pick one weapon and learn its comfortable distance. When testing an attachment, identify the behaviour you want to change and compare the same kind of engagement afterward. Replacing several parts simultaneously makes the result difficult to judge.
Give equipment a specific job
Choose supporting tools for situations that occur in your selected mode. Before using one, know whether the purpose is to open a route, defend an objective or answer a nearby threat. A tool used simply because it is ready can be unavailable when its useful moment arrives.
Activision's Multiplayer information explains mode selection and the related loadout controls. Use the current game rules to define the objective before chasing kills. Official Multiplayer guide.
Review a route, not just a score
Remember one place where you repeatedly lost an engagement. Consider the angle, cover and teammates' positions. Try a different approach next round while keeping the weapon familiar. This helps distinguish a positioning problem from a loadout problem and gives practice a clear purpose.
