THE GUIDE

Free Fire rewards quick decisions, but speed is most useful when you already have a plan. For a new player, surviving the opening and entering fights from a useful position are better goals than collecting as many early duels as possible.

Garena's official site provides game information, updates and support. Check the selected mode in your client before applying advice: a Battle Royale route is not a universal plan for every Free Fire mode. Garena Free Fire

Choose a landing with a second step

Pick a landing area where you can identify both an initial loot route and a way out. Before dropping, agree with teammates on how closely you will stay together.

If the landing becomes crowded, decide whether to contest or move. Drifting into separate buildings without communicating can leave everyone fighting an isolated battle.

Make mobile controls readable

Adjust button placement so aiming, movement and essential actions are comfortable together. Test the layout in a low-pressure setting before using it in a serious match.

Keep sensitivity changes small. If you change several settings after every defeat, you cannot tell whether the setup or the situation caused the problem.

Carry a loadout with a purpose

Choose equipment for the ranges you expect to fight. A familiar weapon you can control is more dependable than a supposed best weapon whose behavior you have not learned.

Before leaving a looting area, check ammunition and recovery supplies. Do not let an inventory search distract you from the route your squad has already started taking.

Rotate before movement becomes desperate

Watch the safe-area information and plan the next protected position. When crossing exposed ground, identify where you will stop rather than running until someone shoots.

Enter a fight because it serves a purpose: defending your route, helping a teammate or securing a safer position. You do not need to chase every distant sound.

Use official clients and information

Garena's support material addresses unauthorized third-party software. Avoid modified clients or tools promising automatic improvement. Official support

After each match, review one avoidable death. Was the cause an unclear landing, late movement or a fight without cover? Improving that decision makes the next match more useful than simply changing the loadout again.
