THE GUIDE

Returning to mo.co requires checking which version of its progression system you remember. The developer has published a substantial revamp, so an older gear checklist can describe systems that no longer match the current game.

The official return announcement explains changes from Gear to Weapons and from Chapters to Seasons, along with which cosmetics and currencies carry over. Use your live account and the current support material to verify the result for you. Official revamp explanation

Read the reset information before rebuilding

Separate cosmetic ownership from progression. The announcement explains that a retained weapon skin becomes usable when its corresponding weapon is unlocked; owning the appearance is not the same as already having the gameplay item.

Check your inventory and the relevant account notices before assuming something is missing. If the result disagrees with the official rules, use support rather than creating a second account in an attempt to recover progress.

Choose a weapon by how it plays

Try the range, movement and attack pattern of an available weapon. Ask whether it fits the encounters you enjoy and whether you can use it while watching threats around you.

Keep one dependable option while testing another. Changing every part of the setup at once makes it difficult to understand why a run became easier or harder.

Give progression a short target

Read the current weapon and season objectives, then pick a target you can explain. Avoid importing an old daily checklist without checking whether those systems still exist.

The return patch notes describe the revised structure and available content. Consult those before spending around a recommendation from an earlier chapter. Official return patch notes

Prepare for group hunts

Bring a weapon you understand and stay aware of where teammates can support you. A new tool is easier to learn when the group knows you are experimenting.

After a difficult encounter, identify whether the issue was weapon familiarity, positioning or a missing upgrade. Fix that specific issue instead of assuming every unsuccessful run requires a new build.

Check current access and support

mo.co's service and testing information has evolved. Use the official support portal for access and account questions. A launch-era invitation article does not establish today's availability or progression rules.
