PUBG Mobile Beginner Guide: Controls, Landing and Safe Rotations
Set up comfortable PUBG Mobile controls and practice landing, looting and movement decisions that make early matches easier to read.

In this guide 4 sections
PUBG Mobile asks you to aim, move, loot and read the map on a small screen. A beginner should make those actions comfortable before copying an advanced player's control layout or sensitivity numbers.
Build controls around your hands
Start with a layout in which you can move, look and fire without accidentally covering important information. Test changes in practice rather than during a ranked match. Move one control at a time and check whether the adjustment solves an actual problem.
The game's official Strategy Center is a reference for PUBG Mobile's systems and equipment. Use the current in-game settings alongside it; available options can vary with updates and devices.
Land with a first minute in mind
Choose a landing area where you can recognize a route between buildings and a direction of escape. Our suggested learning goal is to finish the initial loot phase with a usable weapon, protection and recovery supplies, then leave with a plan.
If you land near enemies, decide whether you have the equipment and information to fight. An uncertain chase through several rooms often teaches less than taking cover, listening and identifying the opponent's approach.
Rotate before movement becomes urgent
Check the map while you still have choices. Identify nearby cover and the exposed ground between you and your destination. A shorter route is not automatically easier if everyone can see you cross it.
In a squad, tell teammates where you intend to go before moving. Agree on whether you are rotating, holding or fighting. Four players making different assumptions can turn a manageable situation into several isolated duels.
Review decisions, not only aim
After a defeat, pick one question: did you enter without information, stay looting too long, or separate from the squad? Record the answer and set one goal for the next match.
Warm up recoil control with a familiar weapon, but give positioning practice equal attention. Comfortable controls help you execute a decision; they cannot repair a decision made too late.
Avoid treating a copied sensitivity code as a universal advantage. Your screen, frame-rate stability and control habits are part of the setup, so test settings on your own device.
