THE GUIDE

Throne and Liberty asks you to build a combat role through weapons. Start by choosing what you want to contribute to a group, then examine whether the two weapons in your loadout support that purpose.

The official gameplay overview explains weapon-based roles and combining two weapons. That gives you flexibility, but flexibility is most useful when the combination has a readable plan.

Define the role before copying a build

Decide whether your priority is absorbing pressure, supporting allies or dealing damage. Read both weapons' skills and look for a practical connection: one action prepares the next, covers a weakness or provides a needed response.

Our recommendation is to write a short sequence using only the skills you understand. Include what you do when the ideal sequence is interrupted. A rotation that works only while standing still and ignoring danger is incomplete.

Learn your defensive response

Before entering a group encounter, identify the attack cues you must react to and the defensive tool you intend to use. Place that control somewhere comfortable.

During an unfamiliar fight, staying available to the group is more valuable than forcing another attack into an unsafe window. Ask for a mechanic explanation when needed and review the failed moment afterward.

Inspect a guide's assumptions

A strong endgame recommendation may rely on upgraded skills, mastery, equipment or another teammate's contribution. List those assumptions before investing resources.

Amazon's weapon-mastery overview documents changes to mastery and gear progression. Use current descriptions for exact values instead of treating an older build sheet as permanently accurate.

Practice group coordination

Tell the group what your loadout is designed to do. Agree on targets and use clear calls when an important ability is unavailable. The official Arena and trial tips emphasize positioning, preparation and communication.

For your first weapon pair, aim for a setup you can explain under pressure. Once you know its limitations, comparisons with other combinations become practical decisions instead of a search for a universal best answer.
