Diablo 4 Season 15 Tier List: Best Builds Ranked by Pit Clears
In this guide 15 sections
THE GUIDE

This Diablo 4 Season 15 tier list ranks endgame builds by what players have actually cleared. It doesn't copy anyone's tier letters. Every build is scored by one rule on two public leaderboards read on October 29, 2026: how many players have cleared Pit and Tower Tier 150 with it, and how fast the best of those clears are. Below the tiers you'll find the best build for each class, picks for Hardcore and SSF, and the Season 15 class changes that explain the results.

Quick summary

  • Best build in Season 15: Blazing Scream Warlock. It has the fastest Pit 150 (0:46) and Tower 150 (0:48), and 92 different players have a verified Pit 150 clear with it.
  • The only other S-tier build is Firewall Sorcerer, with 21 players at Pit 150 and a best clear of 1:17.
  • Best class: Warlock. It holds the fastest clear on both boards, and Blazing Scream has the most Tier 150 Tower runs in Hardcore (22) and Hardcore SSF (15).
  • Barbarian's best build is Mighty Throw, not Whirlwind. All 50 top softcore Tower Barbarians run Mighty Throw at Tier 150, while no Whirlwind run on the Tower board has reached 150.
  • Balance is unchanged since launch: patches 3.2.2 (September 30), 3.2.3 (October 14) and 3.2.4 (October 28) only fixed bugs and raised the Prime Evil Splinter stack size to 99 (Blizzard patch notes).

How this Season 15 tier list is ranked

We use two public leaderboards, both read on October 29, 2026:

  1. Pit leaderboard: Helltides' Season 15 Pit board, a fan-run board of video-verified runs. Each run needs a full, unedited video, and runs that use known exploits are removed. It held 401 approved solo runs from 318 players (last updated October 28), recorded on patches 3.2.1 to 3.2.3.
  2. Tower leaderboard: Helltides' Season 15 Tower board, which lists the top 50 runs per class in each of four modes (Softcore, Hardcore, SSF and Hardcore SSF) and updates hourly. It held 1,595 runs, all on patch 3.2.3.

What counts as a build: the run's class plus its defining skill, read from the skill bar each run lists. For example, a Warlock run with Blazing Scream on the bar counts as Blazing Scream.

Points (maximum 8):

Measure 2 points 1 point
Players with a Pit 150 clear 10 or more 3 to 9
Fastest Pit 150 2:00 or faster 5:00 or faster
Tower 150 runs 10 or more 3 to 9
Fastest Tower 150 2:00 or faster 5:00 or faster

Tiers: S is 7 or 8 points, A is 5 or 6, B is 3 or 4, and C is 0 to 2. A build needs at least 5 runs across both boards to be ranked. Tier 150 is the highest tier on both boards.

Both boards describe the very top of the season, and popular builds get submitted more often. A C-tier build can still clear every Torment tier comfortably. The letter tells you what the fastest players are pushing with, not what you need for your first Pit 100.

Builds with 10 or more runs but no Tier 150 clear on either board, such as Blizzard Sorcerer (best Tower clear 141), Hurricane Druid (140), Ravager Spiritborn (140), Divine Lance Paladin (141) and Blessed Hammer Paladin (127), are also C tier.

Best class in Season 15

Class Fastest Pit 150 Fastest Tower 150 Best build (tier)
Warlock 0:46 0:48 Blazing Scream (S)
Sorcerer 1:17 2:53 Firewall (S)
Necromancer 1:27 2:14 Blood Wave (A)
Spiritborn 1:30 4:34 Stinger (A)
Rogue 2:08 3:36 Dance of Knives (A)
Barbarian 2:52 2:03 Mighty Throw (B)
Paladin 3:53 6:07 Blessed Shield (B)
Druid 14:09 8:43 Lightning Storm (C)

All eight classes have now timed Pit 150, but the gap between them is large. Warlock has 98 of the 401 approved Pit runs at Tier 150. Druid has one.

Best build for each class in Season 15

Class Best build Next options What the data shows
Warlock Blazing Scream (S) Apocalypse (B) Blazing Scream is on 128 of 136 Warlock Pit runs
Sorcerer Firewall with Meteor (S) Hydra (C) 24 of 46 Sorcerer Pit runs use Firewall, Meteor and Unstable Currents together
Necromancer Blood Wave (A) Blood Lance (B) Blood Lance holds the fastest Necromancer Pit 150 (1:27)
Spiritborn Stinger (A) Rushing Claw (C) Stinger runs pair it with Ravager, Toxic Skin and The Protector
Rogue Dance of Knives (A) Rain of Arrows, Penetrating Shot, Flurry (B) Rogue has the most builds at B or above of any class
Barbarian Mighty Throw (B) Steel Grasp, Whirlwind (C) Mighty Throw fills all 50 top softcore Tower slots
Paladin Blessed Shield (B) Spear of the Heavens (C) 13 of 27 Paladin Pit runs use Blessed Shield
Druid Lightning Storm (C) Hurricane (C) Lightning Storm is on 14 of 17 Druid Pit runs

Which build to start with:

  • If you want the strongest pick in the game, take Blazing Scream Warlock. Our Blazing Scream Warlock build guide covers its uniques, rotation and Destruction Demon survival.
  • If you want an alternative to Warlock, Firewall Sorcerer is the only other S-tier build, and it's also the second-best SSF build (see below).
  • If you play Rogue, you have the widest choice: Dance of Knives in A and three builds in B.
  • If you play Druid or Paladin, expect slower top-end clears. Both can still push high tiers, but nobody on either board has cleared Tier 150 quickly with them.

When you've chosen, the Diablo 4 builds category on the hub lists help with specific setups.

Why the top builds rank where they do

Blazing Scream Warlock (S)

It leads every measure. 92 different players have a verified Pit 150 clear with it, more than four times the next build, and it holds the fastest Pit (0:46) and Tower (0:48) clears. Blizzard's 3.2.1 notes doubled Blazing Scream's Brimstone Hunger upgrade bonus cap from 25% to 50% and buffed Bombardment, which 93 of the 136 Warlock Pit runs also use.

Firewall Sorcerer (S)

The only other build with 7 or more points. On the Pit board, 26 of the 30 Firewall runs also use Meteor and Unstable Currents. Blizzard raised the Sorcerer's core stat scalar from 1.25 to 1.625 in 3.2.1 and said Lightning and Fire "have been dominating the past couple of seasons." Fire is still on top.

Blood Wave Necromancer (A)

Six players have cleared Pit 150 with it, the fastest in 1:59. Most runs pair Blood Wave with Skeleton Mages, a Golem and Bone Prison. Blood Lance is close behind (B) and holds the faster Necromancer clear on both boards.

Stinger Spiritborn (A)

Stinger got a straight damage increase in 3.2.1, from 115% to 140% (Blizzard). Its best Pit 150 is 1:30, the fourth-fastest of any build.

Dance of Knives Rogue (A)

The best of four Rogue builds that all reach Tier 150. It has 42 Tower 150 runs, the fourth-most of any build after Blazing Scream, Mighty Throw and Firewall.

Why Whirlwind Barbarian is only C

Whirlwind is the most submitted Barbarian build on the Pit board (32 runs), but only 5 of those players cleared Tier 150, and the fastest took 6:08. On the Tower board its best run is Tier 148. The 3.2.1 notes cut the Barbarian's core stat scalar from 1.1 to 0.8 because "Barbarians have been strong for the past couple seasons" (Blizzard). Mighty Throw with Call of the Ancients is the build Barbarians push with now: all 50 top softcore Tower Barbarians use it, at Tier 150.

Best Season 15 builds for hardcore and SSF

The Tower board ranks each mode separately, so it shows which builds hold up without trading or without a second life.

Mode Builds with Tier 150 Tower runs Fastest
Hardcore Blazing Scream Warlock (22 runs), Mighty Throw Barbarian (5) 1:16
SSF Blazing Scream (49), Firewall Sorcerer (17), Mighty Throw (15), Dance of Knives Rogue (6), Penetrating Shot Rogue (4), Rain of Arrows Rogue (3) 1:07
Hardcore SSF Blazing Scream (15), Mighty Throw (1) 1:20

In Hardcore, no other build has reached Tier 150 on the board. The next-best are Rain of Arrows and Penetrating Shot Rogue at 149. For a Hardcore character, Blazing Scream is the clear pick, and Mighty Throw is the alternative if you don't want to play a Warlock.

What changed for every class in Season 15

Season 15, Season of Hell's Legacy, launched on September 15, 2026 with patch 3.2.1. Blizzard changed every class in the Season of Hell's Legacy patch notes.

Class Key 3.2.1 change (Blizzard) What the leaderboards show now
Barbarian Core stat scalar cut from 1.1 to 0.8 Best build is Mighty Throw (B); Whirlwind fell to C
Druid Core stat scalar raised from 1.25 to 1.625; Human Form now grants 15% Resource Regeneration Still the slowest class; one Pit 150 clear
Necromancer Scalar raised to 1.625; other Core skills buffed because "top builds have revolved around Blood Wave's and Bone Spirit's Core skill variants" Blood Wave (A) and Blood Lance (B) lead
Paladin Scalar raised to 1.625; "Paladin has fallen behind other classes in the late game"; Shield of Retribution now scales its Thorns with Skill Ranks Blessed Shield reaches Pit 150 (B), but the class is seventh of eight
Rogue Tricks of the Trade reworked to 20%[x] increased damage each across Marksman, Cutthroat, Mobility and Trap Skills Four builds at B or above, the most of any class
Sorcerer Scalar raised to 1.625; Cold buffed "since Lightning and Fire have been dominating" Firewall (fire) is S; Blizzard (cold) has no Tier 150 clear
Spiritborn Stinger damage raised from 115% to 140%; new Swarm of Storms Paragon board; Counterattack's Pestilent Swarm cut from 150% to 75% Stinger (A) leads
Warlock Blazing Scream's Brimstone Hunger bonus cap doubled from 25% to 50%; "Warlock is performing well with many of their newly improved options" Blazing Scream is the best build in the game

One item change matters too: the Banished Lord's Talisman is "no longer dropped for or usable by Paladin, Spiritborn, or Warlock" (Blizzard).

Did patch 3.2.4 change the tier list?

No. Blizzard's patch notes list 3.2.4 (October 28) as raising the Prime Evil Splinter stack size from 1 to 99, plus stability and UI fixes. Patches 3.2.2 and 3.2.3 fixed bugs, such as Pulverize immobilizing Staggered bosses and the Sol Rune's damage reduction. None of them changed skill numbers, so the rankings still rest on 3.2.1.

Season 16 is already in testing. Blizzard's 3.3.0 PTR runs from October 27 to November 3 and focuses on War Plans and new Horadric Items. Blizzard hasn't announced a Season 16 start date.

Season 15 leveling builds

Leaderboards only measure the endgame, so this tier list doesn't rank leveling builds. Our Season 15 leveling guide has a 1 to 70 route and a leveling build for every class. If you level with a different build than the one you'll push with, switch once you own the endgame build's key uniques.

Best Season 15 builds by activity

Goal Best fit Why
Pit and Tower pushing Blazing Scream Warlock Fastest clears on both boards
Pushing without a Warlock Firewall Sorcerer, Mighty Throw Barbarian or Dance of Knives Rogue The builds with the most Tower 150 runs after Blazing Scream
Hardcore Blazing Scream, then Mighty Throw The only builds with Tier 150 Hardcore Tower runs
SSF Blazing Scream, Firewall Sorcerer or Mighty Throw The three builds with the most SSF Tower 150 runs
Most build variety Rogue Four builds at B or above

Pair your build with a Splinter of Evil. Blizzard's notes say Diablo's Splinter of Terror modifies Helltide and Infernal Hordes, Baal's Splinter of Destruction modifies the Undercity and Lair Bosses, and Mephisto's Splinter of Hatred modifies the Pit and Nightmare Dungeons. A Pit-pushing Blazing Scream should carry Hatred, while a Helltide farmer is better off with Terror. Our Splinters of Evil guide covers each power.

Example: two friends start Season 15 late. One wants to farm gold for gear, the other wants to push the Pit. The farmer takes Dance of Knives Rogue, an A-tier build that clears fast, and follows the Season 15 gold farming guide. The pusher takes Blazing Scream and uses our Nightmare Dungeons vs Pit guide to decide which upgrade to chase next.

Season 15 builds for alts and returning players

  • Returning Barbarians: Whirlwind was a headline build in earlier seasons. After the 3.2.1 scalar cut, the Barbarians at the top of the Tower run Mighty Throw.
  • Returning Paladins: Shield of Retribution (Blessed Shield) is the Paladin's best result, but the class is still seventh of eight on both boards.
  • Alts: War Plans reputation is now shared across characters in the same realm partition, so a second character starts with your War Plans progress (Blizzard). A Paragon push plan for any build is in our Paragon 300 guide.
  • Talisman owners: if your Paladin, Spiritborn or Warlock used the Banished Lord's Talisman, plan a replacement. Since 3.2.1 those classes can't use it.
  • Season clock: Blizzard hasn't announced when Season 15 ends. The Season 16 PTR closes on November 3.
