TBC Anniversary Ogri'la Reputation Guide: Dailies, Apexis, Shartuul

Quick summary

• Unlock: start with V'eru in Shattrath (about 56.8, 48.2). That leads to Mog'dorg the Wizened at the Circle of Blood, who has five elite group quests. You need level 70 and flying (Wowhead).
• Quests are the only source: Ogri'la rep comes only from quests. Mobs, dungeons, and item turn-ins give none.
• Daily rep: three dailies give 1,200 rep a day.
• Bonus: each run of Shartuul's Transporter gives 750 rep. You need a Darkrune, and the first one is guaranteed from Banish the Demons.
• Time: about 29 days from Neutral if you do every daily (our arithmetic).

• Relic: each try costs one Apexis Shard. Write down the color order by first letter, and wait until the display finishes before you repeat it. A leftover Apexis Emanations buff can block credit, so remove it first.
• Bombing: keep moving at low altitude.
• Rays: get each ray to about 40% health, then stop attacking. A big crit can kill it before the rope channel finishes.
• Demons: each Banishing Crystal portal costs one shard and has a cooldown. Pull several demons to one portal before you use it.

Follow the fastest daily route

1. Get The Relic's Emanation from Chu'a'lor, then the bombing and Aether Ray dailies at the Skyguard Outpost. At Honored, also get Banish More Demons from Kronk.
2. Do the relic first. Its movement-speed buff helps for the rest of the route.
3. Head northeast through Crystal Spine and Vortex Pinnacle, capturing rays as you find them.
4. At Forge Camp: Wrath, bomb the cannonballs and kill demons at your portals in the same place.
5. Return through Ogri'la and turn in all four dailies.

Run Shartuul's Transporter

1. Get a Darkrune. The first is guaranteed from Banish the Demons.
2. Take it to Gahk for A Crystalforged Darkrune (Wowhead).
3. Use the Darkrune at Shartuul's Transporter pad at Forge Camp: Wrath (Honored required).
4. You control three demons in sequence. Learn each one's abilities before the next wave and save defensive cooldowns for the end.
5. A completed run gives 750 rep and a chance at a depleted item.

Rule: Darkrunes are unique. Don't open Kronk's Grab Bag while you're holding one.

Plan your days to Exalted

Our arithmetic. It starts at Neutral 0, uses 1,200 a day until Honored (9,000), then 1,550 a day plus the one-time 350 from Banish the Demons.

Honored is the biggest milestone, because that's when you get the fourth daily and Shartuul's 750-rep runs. Our arithmetic says Honored takes about 8 days of dailies after Neutral (9,000 / 1,200 = 7.5), and Exalted takes about 21 more with no Shartuul runs.

Shards drop from mobs on the plateaus, and you also get them from the dailies, Kronk's Grab Bag, and Apexis Shard Formations (Wowhead).

Depleted items drop from plateau mobs and from Shartuul. Use one while you have 50 shards and it becomes the real item. Both versions are bind-on-equip, so check the Auction House first. For gold, see our gold farming guide.

Avoid these mistakes

• "Do not expect enemy kills to grant reputation."
• "Do not skip one-time Skyguard branches." The bombing and Aether Ray dailies depend on them.
• "Do not open Kronk's Grab Bag while holding a Darkrune."
• "Do not spend every shard before a relic, portal, monument, or depleted upgrade that needs currency."

Plan for alts and returning players

• Depleted gear and the Badge can be traded (BoE), so a main can farm them for alts (Wowhead).
