Zul'Aman loot for TBC Anniversary Phase 3.5: every boss and timed-chest drop, item levels, badges, the Amani War Bear and the BiS items for each spec.
In this guide 10 sections
Quick summary
- Zul'Aman opened on October 22, 2026 on Anniversary realms. It's a 10-player raid with a 3-day lockout, no attunement and no tier tokens (Blizzard).
- Item levels: boss epics are 128–132, Zul'jin's are 133–138, and the third and fourth hostage chests drop item level 141 rings (Wowhead).
- The four most contested items are Hex Shrunken Head, Signet of Primal Wrath, Brooch of Nature's Mercy and Berserker's Call. Each is rated best-in-slot (or "Best") by 8 to 10 of Wowhead's 25 spec lists for this phase.
- The timed run decides your rings. Signet of Primal Wrath and Mana Attuned Band only come from the third and fourth hostage chests, as item level 141 rings (Warcraft Wiki).
- A full clear pays 13 Badges of Justice: two from each of the first five bosses and three from Zul'jin.
This Zul'Aman loot guide lists every boss and timed-chest drop on TBC Anniversary realms, the item levels, and which items each spec's best-in-slot list wants. It covers Phase 3.5, the Zul'Aman update. Wowhead labels its Zul'Aman gear lists "Phase 4", and the loot table is the same as in the original 2.3 patch and the 2022 TBC Classic release. For the bosses, the timer and the hostage order, read our Zul'Aman raid guide.

Zul'Aman BiS items by class and spec
The table lists the Zul'Aman items each Wowhead spec guide for this phase rates "BiS" or "Best" in at least one setup. Items rated "Option" or "Optional" are left out.

|---|---|
| Arms and Fury Warrior | Signet of Primal Wrath, Berserker's Call, Ancient Amani Longbow |
| Protection Warrior | Signet of Primal Wrath (best threat) |
| Retribution Paladin | Cloak of Fiends, Berserker's Call |
| Protection Paladin | Hex Shrunken Head |
| Holy Paladin | Girdle of Stromgarde's Hope. Wowhead says otherwise "nothing changes" from Phase 3 |
| Beast Mastery and Marksmanship Hunter | Signet of Primal Wrath, Berserker's Call, Dagger of Bad Mojo (x2), Trollbane (for weaving) |
| Survival Hunter | Signet of Primal Wrath, Dagger of Bad Mojo (x2) |
| Rogue | Signet of Primal Wrath, Berserker's Call |
| Enhancement Shaman | Signet of Primal Wrath |
| Elemental Shaman | Brooch of Nature's Mercy, Hex Shrunken Head, Loop of Cursed Bones, Footpads of Madness |
| Restoration Shaman | Brooch of Nature's Mercy, Two-toed Sandals |

| Feral Druid (bear) | Berserker's Call (snap threat) |
| Balance Druid | Brooch of Nature's Mercy, Hex Shrunken Head, Mana Attuned Band, Wub's Cursed Hexblade |

| Affliction and Destruction Warlock | Brooch of Nature's Mercy, Mana Attuned Band, Hex Shrunken Head |
| Demonology Warlock | Hex Shrunken Head |
| Shadow Priest | Hex Shrunken Head, Loop of Cursed Bones |
| Priest healer | Brooch of Nature's Mercy |
Some ratings come with conditions. Hex Shrunken Head is marked "Seasonal" in several lists. Signet of Primal Wrath is "Best" at 6% or 9% hit for hunters. Rogue lists say the Signet is the one definite upgrade, with Berserker's Call and Cloak of Fiends as close alternatives.
Our class guides put these items in a full slot list: Rogue, Warrior, Warlock and Shaman.
The most contested Zul'Aman items
| Item | Source | Spec lists rating it BiS or Best | Who should get it first |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hex Shrunken Head | Hex Lord Malacrass | 10 | Casters plus Protection Paladin; agree on rules before the first kill |
| Signet of Primal Wrath | Third or fourth chest | 9 | Physical DPS and threat; needs a timed run |
| Brooch of Nature's Mercy | Akil'zon | 9 | Casters and healers; the first boss, so it drops every lockout |
| Berserker's Call | Zul'jin | 8 | Physical DPS and bear threat |
| Mana Attuned Band | Third or fourth chest | 5 | Casters who need hit |
| Dagger of Bad Mojo | Hex Lord Malacrass | 3 | Hunters want two |
| Loop of Cursed Bones | Zul'jin | 3 | Shadow, Elemental, Frost |
| Ancient Amani Longbow | Zul'jin | 2 | Warriors (ranged slot stats) |
The counts come from going through Wowhead's 25 spec lists. With a 10-player raid and a 3-day lockout, Hex Shrunken Head can have five or more players waiting on one trinket, so agree on loot council or a points system for the top four items before the first pull.
Why the timed run decides your rings
The two rings that 14 of the 25 lists rate BiS (Signet of Primal Wrath and Mana Attuned Band) only drop from the third and fourth hostage chests (Wowhead). If your raid can't save three hostages, those rings won't drop. The fourth chest also carries the raid's one Amani War Bear. Our preparation guide has the step-by-step timed run.
Gear up before your first Zul'Aman clear
| Step | Why |
|---|---|
| Hit your hit cap with Phase 3 gear | Several Wowhead lists rate ZA items by hit budget (6% vs 9%) |
| Gem and enchant new pieces | Have gems and enchant materials ready for raid night; see our gems and enchants guide |
| Keep your tier set bonuses | Wowhead tells Enhancement to hold the Tier 5 4-piece, and the Elemental and Balance lists prioritize Tier 6; see our Tier 6 guide |
| Farm badges | 13 per Zul'Aman clear, plus badges from every Karazhan, Gruul, Magtheridon, Serpentshrine Cavern and Tempest Keep boss since October 22 (Blizzard) |
| Run Heroics on alts | Keys now need only Honored; see our Heroics guide |
Alts and returning players
Fresh 70s: Zul'Aman needs no attunement (Blizzard), and the 128 to 132 boss epics are catch-up gear. Wowhead's Restoration Shaman list says Zul'Aman "brings catch-up items for every slot." Take the "Option" items your main passes on.
Alts in a main's raid: a fair default is to let mains take the four contested items first.
Returning from 2022 TBC Classic: the loot table is the same as in the 2022 release (Wowhead). Phase 3.5 also changed badge sources and Heroic keys.
Planning ahead: Sunwell Plateau has no date yet. Our Sunwell Plateau guide shows which Tier 6 slots it adds, so you know which Zul'Aman pieces you'll keep longest.
Zul'Aman runs from independent sellers appear on the TBC Anniversary raids page, and the TBC Anniversary hub has every other guide. Blizzard's End User License Agreement restricts account sharing and paid in-game services; a listing on a marketplace isn't publisher permission.

Where does Signet of Primal Wrath drop? From the third and fourth hostage chests in the timed run (Wowhead). If your raid saves fewer than three hostages, it won't drop.
