The MapleStory Classic World Cash Shop sells cosmetics and convenience, not power. This MapleStory Classic Cash Shop guide covers what's on sale this week, how the Mystery Fashion Crates and Aurora Stamps work, which convenience items are worth NX, the essentials packs, and the Grand Launch and Halloween changes. Prices are in NX, Nexon's Cash Shop currency, from Nexon's weekly Cash Shop notices.

Times are UTC, as Nexon posts them. US daylight saving time ends November 1, so subtract 8 hours for Pacific time after that date. Season 1 stamps expire with the Aurora shop; spend them before January 13. Nexon's October 28 Cash Shop update lists the current rotation, and since Grand Launch every probability item in the shop has a Rates Info button.
Compare the Mystery Fashion Crates
Each crate gives one random decorative equip, and the crate item lasts 7 days before you open it (Nexon). All three current crates share the same rules: most items are dyeable, unwanted pieces can be traded or stamped, and players in Belgium, Slovakia and Brazil can't buy them.

Example: you want one Halloween outfit piece and have 10 unwanted crate items. Stamping all 10 puts you halfway to an Aurora crate, while selling the two best on the Free Market could fund a Halloween crate's worth of mesos. Check the item's recent sales first; the rule of thumb below helps.
What the Founder's crate items are worth
The Founder's Mystery Fashion Crate sold from October 6 to October 28 at 3,500 NX. An unopened one still works until its 7-day timer runs out, and its items keep trading on the Free Market. Nexon published the rates, and maplestory-classic.com listed them next to market prices:

maplestory-classic.com counts 16 of the 1% items selling for 10,000 mesos or more. It says most 2.5% items sell for 19,999 to 24,999 mesos. Weighting every item by its rate gives about 28,097 mesos per crate. That's a median-based estimate. One lucky ring is worth more than seven average crates.
Nexon's notice adds the item rules:
- Most items are dyeable. The rings aren't.
- Angel Wand, Orange Toy Hammer and Yellow Spatula work with any weapon. Cherub's Bow needs a bow.
- Players in Belgium, Slovakia and Brazil can't buy Mystery items. Items obtained in the Netherlands trade only within the account.
Decide: stamp it or sell it
An unwanted crate item has two exits. You can sell it on the Free Market, or right-click it before equipping for one Aurora Stamp (Nexon). An unopened Signature Style Collection outfit set gives 2 stamps. Stamps move between characters on the same account and world.
Twenty stamps buy one Aurora crate. maplestory-classic.com puts the forgone sales at about 561,940 mesos at median values. It also warns the Aurora market is thin, so Aurora item values are rough.
Our rule of thumb, based on those numbers:

This is our reading, not a source's advice. Prices on October 15 were set by Founder's Access players, and Grand Launch brought far more buyers and sellers. NiaMeowDB's Free Market tracker had recorded over 380,000 prices by late October, so check an item's latest sales before you decide.

A Palette only works on an item that is permanent and has been made untradable, for example by equipping it. Dyeable items show the Aurora Badge on their icon (Nexon). Recoloring always starts from the item's original look, so repeat Palettes don't stack shades.

The Fall Store Permit (3,000, 90 days) holds 18 items like the Pink permit. maplestory-classic.com notes it closes if a monster attacks or kills you. That suggests it's meant for fields, not just the Free Market.

The "vs separate" figures are maplestory-classic.com's. If you'd buy pet skills anyway, Pet Booster is the strongest deal on paper, since it bundles all four skills. It doesn't include the pet itself.

Know the rules that changed at Grand Launch
- Megaphones need level 15. Since 6:00 PM UTC on October 21, every Megaphone, Super Megaphone and Item Megaphone sold or given needs level 15. Megaphones already in an inventory at that time keep level 10 (Nexon's Megaphone notice). Prices are 350 NX for a Megaphone and 1,500 NX for a Super or Item Megaphone, with small discounts in packs of 3 and 12.
- Gifting needs level 12, and an account in debt under the Debt System (from October 22) can't send Cash Shop gifts or trade Cash items until it repays (Nexon).
- New accounts can't trade until 24 hours after a character reaches level 15, which includes trading crate items (Nexon).
- The Beauty Album can grow. Slot Films add one permanent hair or face slot each, up to 24 of each (Nexon).
- Halloween. The Halloween crate runs October 28 to November 4. The free Halloween event's Pumpkin Basket is a real +27 one-handed sword, not a cash item; our Halloween event guide covers it.
- Frieren outfits. Players who bought the Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Signature Style Collection get its coupons in the in-game mailbox once they leave Maple Island, from October 23 to November 3, 11:59 PM UTC; the coupons can't be traded (henesys.gg).
Alts and returning players
- Stamps are account-and-world. You can pool stamps from alts on the same world (Nexon notice).
- Packs have limits. Convenience and Pet Booster are once per account. Monthly is once per world every 30 days (maplestory-classic.com).
- Returning players will find a different shop. The original game sold far fewer item types. Our world vs original guide covers the other changes.
- Old-school habits don't apply. Classic World has 7-day crate timers, stamp seasons and dye Palettes that the original game never had.

What changed in the Cash Shop at Grand Launch
Grand Launch (v1.0.0, October 21, 2026) opened Classic World to everyone, and Nexon's Grand Launch Cash Shop update added the Beauty Essentials Pack, a new Mystery Fashion Crate and Beauty Album Slot Films, and moved megaphones to level 15. The Founder's crate and its matching hair and face coupons ended on October 28, and the Halloween crate replaced them. The shop still sells nothing that adds attack or stats. The MapleStory Classic hub collects every guide for the game.
